Mini Sessions

Saturday was a very busy day, with seven families making their way over here for mini sessions over the course of the day. I apologize for taking so long with the sneak peek, but since it's my busiest time of year, I'm a bit bogged down in editing right now! :o)

Brian and Caroline's beautiful family; this is the third time I've had the pleasure of photographing them, and I can't believe how big the girls are getting!!


You've seen these kids on here before, but this was Mike and Michelle's first time in front of my camera:


You will probably recognize Alessandra and Gavin, who brought their parents along for some pictures this time:

Beautiful family, beautfiul colors

I was so excited to see the colors this family was in; they complimented the fall foliage and the garden mums so beautifully!

My new settee

I have been looking for one of these for a while, and was so excited to find this one yesterday. Hopefully the weather will be good, and we can really put it through its paces with all the family mini-sessions on Saturday. Speaking of which, I'm waiting for confirmation from one client, but it looks like I might still have one session available for early afternoon...email me if you want it!

A lot to be thankful for...

This family session was scheduled to take place last Saturday, but poor little Mak became ill in the morning, and vomited on the way to the park, so it was time for plan B. Since Nana and Grampy live several hours away and were visiting only for the long weekend, we decided to try for a Thanksgiving Day session instead. We started at 9am, and although it was dry and sunny, wow, was it ever c.o.l.d.!!!
Don't you just love the fall colors? (Too funny, I just noticed the breath steam coming out of Nana's mouth!!!) :o)

Stuart's beautiful girls

Stuart and Deb brought their three gorgeous girls for family pictures a year ago, and the girls are, if it's possible, even more sweet and beautiful now. I absolutely loved the time we spent together for my first ever beach session, and I hope that Daddy is able to see his lovely ladies while he's away on business (even though the country he's in apparently blocks Blogger...)

Third time's the charm

I always love to see repeat clients, and I love watching the little ones grow. This family first came to me over a year ago for maternity pictures, then again a few months later for Abigail's newborn pictures. Well, today is Abigail's first birthday, and the family came for some new photos.

Exciting new partnership!!

I'm very excited to announce a new partnership with a gorgeous children's boutique in Burlington, Mudpies & Daisies. The store is located at 3450 Dundas Street, on the corner of Walker's Line and Dundas Street (Hwy 5), in the Longo's plaza.

Mudpies & Daisies and Chandra Vanderboom Photography will be offering a full day of complimentary mini-sessions on Monday, November 2nd, 2009. Here are all the juicy details:

Complimentary sessions will be twenty minutes each, with each client receiving an online proofing gallery containing 6-10 proofs from which to select their prints. Prints can be purchased à la carte with a 10% discount (discount does not apply to boutique items), or clients may purchase one of three exclusive collections, offering discounts ranging from 15-20%.

A $25 deposit is required to book your session time. This deposit will be credited toward your print purchases, so that the session itself remains complimentary. The deposit is non-refundable, but can be transferred to another party if you are unable to attend.
