My New Wall Display

I finally selected the pictures for our wall display...I've never done anything this big before, and I just love it!

Here's how it looks (the big one is 24x36, the others are each 8x10) :

My gorgeous niece

My SIL Jenn came for tea this morning, and of course we couldn't let the opportunity to photograph little Emma pass us by...especially as I haven't taken her pictures since she was about 5 days old. Isn't she a doll?!!

Momstown Christmas Party

Wow, what a fun morning! A local Momstown (support community for moms and families) invited me to set up a portrait station at their annual Christmas party. I wasn't sure how many to expect, so I made a sign-up sheet for 20. That was full within 10 minutes, and we started on a wait list! Not all families stayed until the end of the party though, so in all, I ended up shooting 23 sessions in 2 1/2 hours. Do the math...that's an average of about 7 minutes per session...it was practically an assembly line! :o) But look at some of the lovely images we churned out (my favorite one from each session) ...

I need your help...

Can you please help me choose the pictures for our wall? I don't know how any of my clients manage to do this, because I just can't narrow it down to the right ones!! Of course, they need to go together nicely on the wall too, so they should be sort of similar in style.

I'd love it if you would look through this Flickr set and tell me your faves!!
Here's a sneak peek at a few of them:

I am going to LOVE editing this session!!!

I know it's only supposed to be a sneak peek, but with a family this beautiful, I just can't resist a big showcase! I'm pretty sure you won't mind either, Fiona... :o)

Thanks for bringing your gorgeous family over (and thanks for being such a trooper while you are under the weather, Jim). I had a fabulous time!

(Sorry, for some reason none of them will enlarge...)

Is there a doctor in the house?

Wow! This little man was such a cooperative, smiley baby! What a treat to work with, and we were done in a flash!
Dylan was up for every adventure we offered him...
...and he even got to dress up like his grandpa (although I assume grandpa wears more clothes to work...) :o)

Take Two

It's a bit of a challenge to find an indoor location for a group of this size, but thanks to a very determined and resourceful Grandma, we made it work!

Bundles of energy

I had lots of fun with Eli and Sarah on Saturday morning. Sorry for introducing them to Froot Loops at such a young age, Emma...who'd have know they'd take to them so well? I think you can forget about ever getting them to eat plain oatmeal again, though. :o)

It's a good thing they didn't see the giant lollipop I had stashed out of sight...

Our baby is one!

Stephanie turned one last week, and we took a few minutes for a shoot to celebrate this big milestone...
