A bunch of professionals

For a group that hasn't had their family picture taken in almost 10 years, these folks sure were a bunch of pros! Family shots, Mom & Dad, and individuals of the kids, and all was said and done in just over half an hour!
And because I know you love the "mushy" shots so much, Andrew, here's one just for you!

Saturday afternoon

(Scroll down for Saturday morning...)

I don't normally do two sessions in one day, but when you're working with newborns, they really are best photographed within their first two weeks. So if two babies are born two days apart, and both need a Saturday session to be able to include working dads and school-aged children, then...well, you get the picture. :o)

You might remember Jennifer and Marcus from last month. It was great to see you guys again and to meet your precious little bundle!
Baby really cracks me up in this one...be sure to click on the picture to enlarge for full benefit! :o)

Saturday morning

Saturday was a busy day, with a family session on-location in the morning, and a newborn session here in the afternoon. I haven't had time to look through most of them yet, but here's just a taste of the morning's session:

Poor Dad couldn't figure out why on earth I wanted a picture of him holding a painting that I took down from his office wall! I think Mom might have figured it out, but she bit her tongue. I had explained my plan to the kids, and they thought it was fun to keep it as "our little secret"... :o)

Cason

Poor little Cason really didn't want to have his pictures taken, but we toughed it out and came up with some winners. A couple of my faves:

"So there!"

What 5-day old Cason really thinks of his mom...

(Don't worry, the "real" sneak peek will be coming soon...) :o)

Kathryn & Mike

I usually try to post only two or three favorites from a session. After all, this is is just supposed to be a "sneak peek". But when one shoots off more than 500 frames, how does one narrow that down to just two or three?!!! So here are eight of my faves instead...

Enjoy, Kathryn & Mike, and have a great trip!

And the best shot of all...when a bug fell down the front of Kathryn's dress, her new husband was eager to come to the rescue! :o)
